french riviera

There are many destinations in France that would be wonderful for a honeymoon but the French Riviera stands out among them. It’s a sizable area so you have lots of places to choose from. There are many packages available so you can tailor the level of luxury you want to experience while visiting Europe. You can choose how much money you want to spend, where you want to end up and more. You can do all of this online, too. Buy a book to inform you in depth as to what’s available and then have fun!

You can start your search with Nice. It’s the ideal start point for a trip in the South of France. After checking in to your hotel you can take a taxi down to the Promenade de Anglais, a beautiful beachside walkway that you’ve probably seen in dozens of photos. If you want to take a dip in the Mediterranean you can head south of the promenade and enjoy the beautiful beaches filled with blue umbrellas providing shade to the many happy folks that have decided to vacation in Nice just like you. The northern part of the area is stuffed with lovely buildings and luxury hotels that you can book for your stay. There are so many choices it might baffle you at first but it’s well worth investing some time to find the one that will make your trip well worth the time. There are other destinations in the French Riviera though.

Cannes is a boisterous, beautiful city in the south of France and it’s filled with luxury hotels and some of the top restaurants in the country. You might be familiar with the area because of the Cannes Film Festival that’s held every year and it was chosen because it’s so beautiful and stuffed with luxury. Like any city in France it’s ideal for long romantic walks along the beach or through the quaint streets. At night the city lights up and is beyond gorgeous. Some of the top hotels in France are located in Cannes and they are all amazing destinations for you and your new spouse to spend plenty of relaxing and wonderful time. If you go make sure you take the Petit Train on a journey around the entire city. It’s a perfect way to see it all without taking more than a few hours.

Monte Carlo is one of the finest destinations on the French Riviera and it’s well known for luxury. It’s one of the top places on the planet to have a honeymoon so you can’t go wrong. You’ll spend your time bathed in sunlight and enjoying the incredible architecture, the mind blowing views and the sheer luxury of it all. You’ll feel bathed in perfection and you’ll wish that you could afford to come back again the very next year. Maybe you will! More than anything Monte Carlo is brimming with romance. You can find quiet spots all over the town and when you throw in amazing natural beauty and more than 300 days of sunlight a year you have a perfect recipe for romantic pleasure.

Honeymoon in Paris

Paris is unquestionably the most romantic city in the world and if you want to have a truly memorable honeymoon you might consider traveling to France for a week or two in the City of Light. There are so many places to see it might not be enough to spend just a week so talk it over with your future spouse and see what he (or she) thinks. I have some information for you that should help make booking a trip a little easier.

There are certain spots in Paris that stand out as even more romantic than the others if such a thing is possible. Obviously the Eiffel Tower is stunning. It’s a world famous landmark but more than that it’s a beautiful architectural accomplishment. When you’re standing in front of it with your wife in your arms you’re going to feel a sense of love that’s so deep it stuns you. It’s won’t be clear why that’s happening and that’s all part of the charm of a trip to Paris, France. The Latin Quarter is also exceptionally romantic and features lots of nice spots for strolls and picnics if you want to spend some time outdoors. There are dozens of wonderful cafes and restaurants, including some with low prices.

Make sure you spend as much time as possible walking along the Seine. It’s a terribly romantic river with lovely little shops and restaurants dotting the edges. It’s recommended that you travel on your European honeymoon during a warm weather season since it’s hard to experience the pleasure of a romantic destination like Paris when you’re freezing. You can spend your time strolling down the Champs Elysees and enjoying the lovely breeze or the view from the Arc de Triomphe. Paris just stuffed with wonderful things to do.

There are many great hotels in Paris so you can’t really go wrong. I’ll point out a few of the classics though. The Plaza Athenee Hotel is one of the finest in all of Europe so it will cost a small fortune but there’s no question it will be worth the money. The Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel Hotel is located near the Eiffel Tower and features lovely rooms and great views. If you’re on a budget then check out the Comfort Hotel Lamarck Paris for a lovely time. The Hotel Kleber offers suites with hot tubs in them and I can’t recommend some time in a tub with your bride enough.

Your dream honeymoon list should include Paris because it’s a magical city. There are so many places to see and so much to learn about the city if you want. More than anything it’s just a place of romance. You could do nothing at all during your stay and you would feel like you were drenched on romanticism. If you simply sat in cafes and drank espresso you would be delighted. If you end up purchasing a trip to Paris you should pick up these two items. The first is called Paris (EYEWITNESS TRAVEL GUIDE) and it offers a deluge of information on the city. You should also check out the French Phrasebook CD so you can listen on the plane and pick up a few words.
