Thailand is an amazing place. It’s an exotic, beautiful locale in Asia known for great beaches, an amazing nightlife and a liberated approach to sexuality. There are literally hundreds of amazing hotels to choose from because the nation’s coast is dotted with islands that have been turned into vacation meccas for travelers. Thailand is paradise and if you’re looking for a great honeymoon destination you should be able to find any number of places to stay. I’m going to concentrate on three particular islands because they’re the absolute best. They are Koh Samui, Phuket and Phi Phi.
Koh Samui
Koh Samui offers you the Thailand beach vacation you’ve already dreamt of. This fantastic paradise has dozens of amazing hotels with spas, incredible views and plenty of activities. Getting there is as simple as a boat ride so don’t worry about the traveling. There are so many fantastic nooks and crannies on the island that you should hire a local guide for a day and have him take you around to the incredible beach spots, coves and jungle hideouts that wow travelers to the paradise that is Thailand. You can take a tour on an elephant’s back, spend the day in your bungalow, go down to the spa to get an amazing rub or take a dip in the ocean and feel the incredible warmth of the water around you like a bear hug.
Phuket
Phuket is a larger island and offers a considerable nightlife. It’s the perfect honeymoon destination for a couple that’s looking to relax at their hotel by day and go out for dancing and drinks by night. The hotels run the gamut so you can stay at one of the most luxurious places you’ve ever been in your life or you can save your money and go with something cheaper. The choice is yours and luckily there are dozens of great places. You can choose between resorts with lots of amenities or a simple hotel that will give you a room and maybe one restaurant. There are lots of sites online that offer guides to the Phuket nightlife so you can explore paradise any way you want. There are hundreds of clubs so you could just hit them all and really see where life takes you. You’re going to have a great time, that much I can guarantee. The wonder of paradise will sweep you up.
Phi Phi island is a fairly small destination and is suited to honeymoon travelers that want a more tropical experience. There are several bays and coves on the island that are filled with beautiful blue water and will call you to them for a swim in the ocean. It will be the best trip of your life if you take the plunge. Activities on Phi Phi include kayaking, cliff diving, shark watching, rock climbing, sailing, snorkeling and spider monkey sighting. There are bars you can visit at night for a little partying and plenty of terrific restaurants so you can eat like a king. You can’t go wrong with any of the honeymoon destinations in Thailand so have a great time.
